After this course you can plan AI solutions in Microsoft Foundry and build them with Python, from model selection and RAG to agents that use tools and pause for approval at sensitive steps. You will monitor quality, cost and safety events, and add vision, speech and document extraction. It suits you if you already develop in Python and want to take AI applications on Azure into production, or to prepare specifically for the AI-103 exam.
What you’ll take away.
- Choose and deploy the right models and Foundry services for a given task
- Build RAG applications using semantic, hybrid and vector search
- Develop agents with tools, memory and approval steps
- Monitor cost, quality and safety events in production
- Add vision, speech and text capabilities to your own applications
Your training in detail
- Who is it for?
- Python developers and AI engineers who want to build production AI solutions on Azure.
- Prerequisites
- You already build applications in Python and understand the basics of generative AI and Azure services.
- Format & planning
- Standard length: 4 training days. A different length can be arranged for companies.
Agenda: from understanding to application
Our independently developed agenda proposal. Focus areas, lab environment and scope are agreed before booking.
Planning Foundry services, model choice and infrastructure
Setting up security, quotas and monitoring
Building generative applications and RAG with the Foundry SDK
Developing single agents and multi-agent solutions with safeguards
Implementing multimodal image and video workflows
Integrating text analysis, translation and speech
Indexing documents and extracting content with Content Understanding
You build an agent that answers questions about sample internal documents, calls a function and waits for approval before risky actions. You then evaluate its answers and read its traces.
