After this course you can approach an authorised security test in a structured way: scope out targets, find weaknesses, follow attack paths and turn the results into actions. You will know the subject areas of the current CEH version and see where you still need to revise for the exam. The course suits you if you already work in administration, network operations or security and want first-hand practice with attacks. It is too demanding for a complete beginner in IT security.
What you’ll take away.
- Apply reconnaissance, scanning and enumeration as one connected approach
- Spot and assess weaknesses in systems, web applications and wireless networks
- Derive suitable countermeasures from the attack techniques you observe
- Stay within the legal and contractual limits of an authorised test
