This SAP fundamentals training shows how business processes such as procurement, sales and accounting are represented in SAP, how to move around the system and how master data and documents connect. It is aimed at new users, business staff and IT specialists without SAP experience. You follow sample processes from order to invoice, read document flows and recognise where data is missing or wrong.

- No SAP knowledge needed. A basic understanding of business operations such as ordering or invoicing helps.

Orientation: the purpose of an ERP system, an overview of SAP S/4HANA and modules such as MM, SD, FI and CO.
Navigation: logon, SAP Fiori launchpad and SAP GUI, transaction codes, favourites, search and help.
Master data: material, business partner, cost centre and G/L account, plus their maintenance and duplicate checks.
Procurement: purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt and invoice verification in the procure-to-pay process.
Sales: sales order, delivery, billing and incoming payment in the order-to-cash process.
Documents and reporting: document flow, accounting document, an overview of authorisations, simple reports and troubleshooting.
Suggested exercise: in a practice system, follow a purchase from requester to invoice verification, document the document flow and find a deliberately incorrect master data record.

Do I need an SAP system for the training?
Hands-on exercises need a practice system. Whether we use an existing system at your company or a training system is provided, we clarify when you enquire. Without access, the training can convey the concepts through presentations and demonstrations.
What is the difference between SAP GUI and Fiori?
SAP GUI is the classic desktop interface with transaction codes. Fiori is the web-based, role-oriented interface with tiles in the launchpad. In many companies both run in parallel. We show both so you can find your way in the variant at your workplace.
What is master data and why does it matter?
Master data describes objects that stay the same for a long time, such as material, customer or vendor. Errors there carry into every document built on them and lead to wrong prices or postings. That is why we practise reading and checking master data and separating it from transaction data.
