This learning preview shows you in three short lessons how to describe a task to an AI tool so the answer is usable, and how to check it afterwards. It is aimed at complete beginners who want to read first before booking a training. It is a free reading preview with small exercises. It is not a live training and awards no certificate. You learn about context, output format and review criteria, and practise removing confidential details from examples.
What you’ll take away.
- Write a task with a role, context and the output format you want
- Set review criteria before the answer arrives
- Check claims in an AI answer against a reliable source
- Strip names, figures and internal details from example texts
- Decide which tasks suit AI and which do not

Agenda: from understanding to application
Our independently developed agenda proposal. Focus areas, lab environment and scope are agreed before booking.
Lesson 1 explains why a task consists of a goal, context and output format, using a customer email as the example.
Lesson 1 compares a vague instruction with a precise one and shows how the answer changes.
Lesson 2 covers review criteria such as completeness, sourcing and tone as a checklist.
Lesson 2 practises cross-checking figures, names and quotes using invented sample answers.
Lesson 3 shows which details belong in a prompt and which do not, including a GDPR perspective.
Lesson 3 ends with an anonymisation exercise on a sample text and a short self-check.
Suggested exercise: Phrase a task from your own day with context and format, set three review criteria and remove all confidential details from the example.

Frequently asked questions
Is the learning preview a real training?
No. It is a free reading preview with three short lessons and small exercises that you work through on your own. There is no trainer, no live session and no certificate. It helps you judge whether a fuller offer on prompting or AI at work suits you.
May I use real company data in the exercises?
No, and that is exactly what the lessons practise. You work with invented examples or anonymise your own texts first. Leave out names, customer data, prices and internal documents. Whether a given tool stores inputs is set by its terms of use and your employer's rules.
Do I need a specific AI tool?
No. The lessons are vendor-neutral and can be followed with any common chat assistant. To read and do the exercises in the text you only need a browser. If you want to try the examples yourself, use a tool your employer allows.
Does Brief AI clearly: learning preview include a certificate?
The preview is free and awards no certificate or vendor qualification. No external exam is associated with it.
